The new £75m Hastings College comprises of two new state-of-the-art college buildings for the Sussex Coast College which opens September 2009. Main contractor, Laing O’Rourke constructed a six-storey steel framed building that will provide 20,000m² of floor space. New facilities will accommodate for up to 2,500 students, including housing, healthcare, parking and a business and technology centre.

Project Details:

Brandclad Ltd designed and installed the total building envelope for the 4 plantrooms on the roof of the main building comprising Kingspan secondary steelwork, Speeddeck standing seam roofing, Kingspan composite wall cladding, fire doors, and louvres. Brandclad also provided cappings, bullnose facias, and soffits to the entire perimeter of the main building.
